to said parts, how about making it so you can play as either Issac or Carver in the campaign. If you think otherwise, well you're kind of just being an old-fashioned, close-minded, over-protective and selfish fan-boy of a jerk.So how about instead of sealing off certain parts of the game for ONLY multiplayer, and attaching achievements or weapon parts/logs/ect. Only the silliest and most ridiculous of people would think that. I didn't say they should turn the game into a mutliplayer-only version of Lost Planet with Necromorphs. For what it's worth, while I don't disagree that a singleplayer Dead Space experience is very much a unique and special experience to itself as a singleplayer game, a co-op experience (campaign or horde-mode style) is a more than welcome companion to the singleplayer component, assuming it can be pulled off with an equal level of polish, respect, and of course fun. You can play Dead Space 1 and 2 with your rosiest-of-colored glasses and fear every single change to your most precious of games, but close-mindedness like this always makes me shake my head in disappointment.
If they developed something really fun and enticing, you have no right to dismiss it outright until you tried it. The best part of dead space is the atmosphere and that kind of stuff does not work with another player involved "Multiplayer wasn't meant to be part of Assassin's Creed either, but look great how that turned out. "Multiplayer is not meant to be in dead space. The singleplayer campaign with Issac doesn't need a co-op mode, but if they based it around the two Dead Space Extraction characters they could probably make it more viable considering Issac is pretty much a standalone character in the universe. I think almost everyone is in agreement that this game really could have used a wave-based survival co-op mode.
